Exterior
We are big outdoor people – and when I say big, I mean we probably spend 75% of our time together outside. We also love to entertain, so we knew that we needed a spot that was a mix of casual and refined while still being fun and cozy. Enter: Neighbor‘s outdoor furniture line to save the day.
When we started looking at furniture to deck out our deck (see what I did there), there was an overwhelming amount to choose from online. One of our must-have’s was keeping with a style that had the same look and feel as the interior design of the house. When I came across the teak and white combo that Neighbor offered, I knew it would be the perfect fit. The toughest step was trying to narrow down what layout we wanted. What makes their furniture super cool and unique, is that it is all made with a modular design. You can arrange their couch or sectional into a ton of different configurations – seriously how cool is that?! If we ever want to change up the couch design that we chose, we have the option to add a few more pieces and make it a sectional. So. Sweet.
The materials are top notch with FSC certified teak, marine grade hardware, Sunbrella fabric and quick drying foam. You can even unzip the cushion covers and throw them in the wash! (Sean loved this, which means maybe I’ll get him to finally do some laundry around here.) The thing that really sold us on Neighbor is that they think of their furniture as creating your living room outdoors, and that is EXACTLY what this space is to us now.
