THE INDEX

MORE OF our STORY

We stumbled on our 1860's farmhouse the same way we found all of the other houses we fell in love with - dreaming out of the car window. We actually were not even in the car together when we first spotted in, but both told each other about the same sad looking house on the same day. Lucky for us the owner had a just gotten a quote to demolish it, but told us he'd give us a look inside anyways (deffffinitely thought we were crazy by the way).

Over two years later and we spend every free second we have working on bringing this baby back to life. We thought we had a game plan going in, but this old cat is teaching us something new about homes, renovations and ourselves every single day.

We thought we had a game plan going in...

We toured the farm and after a long year and eight months we finally closed. With Sean's degree in architecture and mine (Sam's) in design we got to work dreaming up a way to preserve the history of this old place, but make it a home unique to us and our story.
