With adding so much “new” into our old home, something I always keep in mind is where I can add timeless touches into the design. Instead of using the old mismatched/broken hardware we had, I knew I wanted something that would last 100 more years, but feel like it’s been there all along. That’s when we came across Nostalgic Warehouse. (The name says it all – nostalgic – winner winner chicken dinner.)

I love the long back plates, and the New York style is a perfect mix of modern and traditional. We paired it with the mission knob and it’s seriously almost identical to the broken knobs we had in the house! Mind. Blown. I was so pumped finding these. The finish on these beauties is antique brass and it matches the rest of the finishes in our house perfectly.

Each set comes with everything you need (see my unboxing photo above) from the back plates, knobs, latches, strike plates, screws, instructions – all the goods. They even send you a template if your doors don’t have the holes cut in them already.

These babies are made out of forged brass and are heavyyy. If you have a Sean in your life like I do, he determines the quality of things by touching them and handling them. Once he picked these knobs up he was sold. And I was sold on the cute little key hole cut outs!

You can find our exact knobs here! We used a mix of passage and privacy knobs (handles that can and cannot lock). Our finish was antique brass with the New York back plate and mission knob.
